Chefs Cook for a Cause

Mark your calendars for Friday, April 1st when a veritable menagerie of Boston’s finest chefs gather in support of the East End House, one of the country’s oldest social service centers. The 8th annual Cooking for a Cause will feature the culinary talents of culinary chair Tony Maws (Craigie on Main) and a slew of his friends – Jody Adams (Rialto), Josh Buehler (KO Prime), Dante de Magistris (dante), Will Gilson (Garden at the Cellar), Rachel Klein (Aura), William Kovel (28 Degrees), Michael Leviton (Lumière), Peter McCarthy (EVOO), Jay Murray (Grill 23), Paul O’Connell (Chez Henri), Marc Orfaly (Pigalle), Ken Oringer (Clio, Toro, Coppa, KO Prime), Brian Poe (Poe’s Kitchen), Sam Putnam (Foundry on Elm), Jason Santos (Gargoyles on the Square), Jeremy Sewall (Island Creek Oyster bar, Eastern Standard, Lineage), Robert Sisca (Bistro du Midi) and Paul Turano (Tryst). To wash down all that delicious food, there’ll be some fancy cocktails courtesy of some talented mixologists, local wines and craft beers. And if you feel like dancing off some of those well-worth-it calories, the Winiker Orchestra will provide some toe-tapping tunes. Tickets to the fundraiser, which begins at 6:00pm at the Seaport Hotel, are $125 per person. Make sure you have yours in hand by visiting their website.
