Chef Louie Night Returns

So remember that time that Jamie Bissonnette, Louis DiBiccari and Will Gilson went on a bar crawl dressed like farm animals? Here’s why: Chef Louie Night. Sel de le Terre Back Bay‘s Louis DiBiccari is reviving his on-the-fly, pop-up, family-style cook-off/dinner series on Sunday, January 30th. Here’s how it works: attendees can log onto the Chef Louie Night website to vote for the evening’s culinary theme and star ingredients. Once those have been decided DiBiccari and company (in this case Jamie Bissonnette of Coppa and Toro) will be tasked with planning and executing the menu. Here are the details: this particular pop-up takes place at Petit Robert Central (101 Arch Street in Downtown Crossing) from 6:00pm until close and costs $48 per person ($5 of which will be donated to Sabrina’s Foundation. Wines to accompany the family-style dinner will be provided by Westport Rivers. And finally, here’s what this all has to do with dressing up as farm animals and having cocktails all over the city: nothing. But it sure got everyone talking.
