Château Lagrange by Way of Boylston St.

Chateau Lestignac

Now that we’re all sporting sweaters and boots again, it’s time to forget about the beach and take comfort in the rich foods that are going to get us through the cold months. On Tuesday, November 13th, Bar Boulud has invited Matthieu Bordes, Winemaker at Chateau Lagrange, for a wine dinner featuring the flavors of Medoc paired with some serious wine. The evening begins with Champagne and assorted canapés, then moves on to the heavy hitters: Foie Gras and Beef Bourguignon paired with the celebrated 2014 vintage of Lagrange, plus a trip to the vineyard’s library to see how the 1996 is holding up (hint: very well). It’s $175 for this francophile’s delight, including tax and gratuity. Peep the deets and sign up this way.
