Chalet Marlowe Olympic Pop-Up

If you didn’t qualify for the Winter Olympics but still want in on that whole apres-ski vibe, just hop on the T to East Cambridge for Chalet Marlowe, an Olympic chalet pop-up by chef David Bazirgan at Bambara in the Hotel Marlowe. From February 9th to the 28th, the lobby will be transformed into a luxurious lodge, with faux fur, flannel, and antler wreaths, making you want to curl up by the fire.

The event kicks off with an Opening Ceremony on Friday, February 9th from 5:00 to 11:00pm featuring Chef Bazirgan’s friend and fellow restaurant guru Chef Danny Lee of D.C. Korean hotspots CHIKO and Mandu. He’ll be cooking up Southeast Asian snacks while you watch the actual Olympic opening ceremonies in PyeongChang. For the rest of the month, you can go for gold with Korean-inspired bites from the Bambara team and Olympic-themed cocktails from the bar. Who doesn’t want to sip on an “Alpine Slide” (Vodka, Swiss Chocolate, Cold Brew, Kirsch) while watching some curling? See who else is going on Facebook here.
