Celebrate Samhain

Beat Brasserie Website

Forget candy corn—the Beat Brasserie is tracing Halloween cuisine back to its roots this month with a festive supplement to its normal menu. Before October 31st was the ghoulish scare affair we know today, it was a pre-Christian Celtic festival called Samhain, a night of feasting, merriment, charms and incantations. In Samhain’s honor, chef Ignacio Lopez will bring back some of the festival’s more traditional dishes through the end of the month that include colcannon, apple cake, barmbrack, and potato farls and fadge with roasted apples and butter. Call 617.499.0001 to reserve your spot for non-candy fare before time runs out.
