On Tuesday, December 8th Toro celebrates their fourth anniversary – how else? – with an array of delicious tapas. Chef Jamie Bissonnette will welcome the legendary Lydia Shire of Locke Ober and Scampo fame to join him in creating the evening’s special menu – a mix of the tasty tidbits you’ve come to expect from your friendly neighborhood Ken Oringer tapas bar and some Shire-styled bites. Watch out for black pudding with poly science egg, hollandaise and yucca crisps, or crisped calf’s brains with brain marrow custard, capers and sherry vinegar butter sauce. There’ll even be a deep dark chocolate pudding because really, what’s a party without chocolate? The bite sized goodness will be available from 5:30pm to 1:00am – make sure you drop by to wish them a happy birthday.
