The Ashmont Adams area of Dorchester is getting ready to rock the blocks with Dorchfest – their inaugural Porchfest celebration – this Saturday, June 4th, and you can start and end your day with the folks at The Industry.
Starting at 11:30am, 45 bands will be performing free shows on porches throughout the neighborhood and everyone is welcome to come and hang out! Fuel up for your day with breakfast or brunch at The Industry starting at 10:00am, and then head out for a stroll to see the bands – all of the performances are within walking distance. After the bands wrap it up, you can head back to The Industry for a lively after party and share some snacks and cold drafts with your crew.
Porchfest is brought to life by some very generous sponsors in partnership with the Ashmont Adams Neighborhood Association (AANA), and if you want to contribute to the performers you can reach out to AANA on their website, or bring some cash on the day of the event for tips. Porchfest is open to anyone to attend, but be sure to bring proper ID for partying at The Industry after.
