Celebrate Cherry Blossom + Namazake Season

Advanced Sake Professional Alyssa Mikiko DiPasquale opened The Koji Club in Brighton’s Charles River Speedway just two short months ago and there’s already good reason to celebrate. This Saturday, April 9th from 6:00 to 9:00pm, Boston’s first and only sake bar presents a celebration of Cherry Blossom + Namazake season. Each year sake brewers release a very rare and limited amount of unpasteurized sake called namazake, which is bright, bold and borderline effervescent. Join the Koji team as they ring in the end of sake brewing season, signaled by the blooming of cherry blossoms.

Tickets are $149 each and include: tastes of eight sakes from four breweries – including a namazake side-by-side with its pasteurized twin; three made-to-order sushi hand rolls by Koji bestie, Portland’s Mr. Tuna who will have Bluefin toro and plenty of caviar in tow; a disco ball and a dance floor. Guests are, of course, encouraged to wear pink to celebrate this special occasion. Tickets are available online here via Eventbrite.
