If you left your Bastille Day bookings to the last minute, just head for Downtown Crossing tonight and toast the tricolour with the team at Central Bistro. Chef Eric Bogardus will be adding some a la carte specials to his already très francais menu. Pop in any time before 10:00pm for poached salmon rillette salad with capers, lemon and garlic frisee ($14); or beef tenderloin with béarnaise cream, grilled asparagus, and poached truffle egg ($27).
