On Monday, May 1st, chef Kevin Long hosts another magnificent wine dinner at Hingham’s beloved Tosca, this one featuring the award-winning wines of Tuscany’s Castello Banfi. Get the evening off to a sparkling start, sipping Principessa Perlante Gavi at the pre-dinner reception, which starts at 6:30pm. Then sit down to for Long’s masterfully crafted, five-course dinner menu. Enjoy tuna crudo with Meyer lemon and avocado crema; ricotta raviolo with fava bean salad, warm parmigiano custard; tenderloin, morel mushrooms, comet’s tail pepper, early spring ramps; and an assortment of toasted cheeses. Pastry chef Maria Cavaleri-Gilardo brings it all to a close with Maria’s Berries Ripasso and her signature cioccolatini. The dinner costs $95 per person.
