Carbo Load on Cookies

Top Shelf Cookies

Fuel your marathon fever on Saturday, April 15th in Copley Square at a cookie pop-up with Heather Yunger of Top Shelf Cookies. The cookie guru will be setting up shop outside the Fairmont Copley Plaza’s main entrance on St. James Avenue from 2:00 to 4:00pm with stacks of special confections made for the 127th Boston Marathon that are perfect for getting those extra carbs in before the race. Make your way to the historic hotel, which is conveniently located across the street from the Marathon Fan Fest, to check out the finish line ahead of the race and snack on some Left on Boylstons (lemon coriander cookies made with Samuel Adams’s official beer of the marathon, 26.2 Brew), or a stack of Finish Lines, which are Yunger’s classic sugar cookies decorated with blue and yellow sprinkles. Keep your eyes on both The Fairmont and OAK Long Bar + Kitchen’s IGs for pics from the weekend and the big day, and follow Top Shelf for all their Boston sports-themed cookies throughout the year.

See all your best bets for Marathon food & fun – from pre-race carbo-loading to day-of lunches, brunches and parties.
