Italian Wine Tour

Capo Restaurant Facebook

Traditional wine dinners can sometimes feel stuffy and lengthy, but Capo flips the script on what it means to discover new pairings. On Wednesday, January 16th, unwind in their dining room in a cozy setting (yes, the fire will be crackling!) with other folks who love wine just as much as you do, or are at least as curious about discovering different kinds of sippers. Six wines from Umani Ronchi will be presented along with paired small plates, details below, from chef de cuisine Ciro Fodera during this walk-around tasting. Go at your own pace — you set the tempo for your snacking and sipping — and walk away with a more intimate understanding of Italian vino. Snag a ticket for $40 each plus a processing fee.

Umani Ronchi Pecorino: Truffled Pecorino with honeycomb & microgreens
Umani Ronchi Verdicchio: Prosciutto wrapped melon with basil oil
Umani Ronchi ‘Podere’ Montepulciano: Steak Tartare crostini
Umani Ronchi ‘San Lorenzo’ Rosso Conero: Duck confit with cherry mostarda
Umani Ronchi ‘Jorio’: Wild Mushroom risotto & aged balsamic
Umani Ronchi ‘Cùmaro’: Braised Shortrib over porcini polenta
