Cakebread Wine Dinner at Crowne Pointe Inn

The Crowne Pointe Inn and Spa in Provincetown invites guests to enjoy an end-of-summer soiree at their Cakebread Wine Dinner Wine and Food Experience on Thursday, September 15th. One of the few establishments that carries the entire Cakebread Vineyards portfolio, Crowne Pointe will be pairing the naturally harvested wines with five courses from executive chef Amy Howell. On the menu for the evening: mixed baby greens salad with orange-chili shrimp, caramelized onions and light chevre; curry butternut pear soup topped with a sweet five-spice raita; crispy duck couscous salad with artichoke hearts, nicoise olives with a pomegranate vinaigrette; and Moroccan spiced rack of lamb with an apricot, cardamom and cashew tapenade, served with minted haricot verts and saffron sweet potato mash. The dinner, which costs $150.00 per person including tax and gratuity, gets underway at 7:00pm and will also include discussion of the value and benefit of natural, and sustainable agricultural practices and their role in vineyard business.
