Burgundy Wine Dinner at Forage

Even if you think you’ve heard it all when it comes to Burgundy (known for producing some of the most collectible and expensive wine in the world), you can take a deeper dive into the history and terroir of the famed region of France with your friends at Forage. On Tuesday, March 21st you can taste your way through some excellent examples of small-scale, lesser-known producers courtesy of wine guru Stan Hilbert who’s picked some bottles to pair with chef Eric Cooper’s locally-sourced four-course menu: Parsnip Hummus with confit carrots, dill, crackers, black pepper and macadamia paired with 2019 “Skin Contact” Domaine Lienhardt, Comblanchien; and Duck Breast with duck confit spread, potatoes, mushroom broth and herb salad with 2017 Savigny 1er Cru Peuillets, Ecard.
