A couple of dollars may not go as far as they used to, but they can still buy you a pile of cold, briny oysters at Rail Stop Restaurant & Bar.  Head to the Boston Landing hotspot in Brighton on Monday through Friday from 3:00 to 6:00pm for Buck-A-Shuck oysters at the bar. Get a crew together at the bar and enjoy a rotating menu of fresh, local oysters (minimum of six) plus maybe an extra snack or two like Point Judith Calamari (Garlic aioli, pepper relish, cherry peppers) and some Pan Seared Crab Cakes (lump crab meat, herbs, roasted red peppers, sriracha remoulade, frisée). There’s no need to drive when the restaurant and bar is right at the commuter rail stop (hence the name), so everyone can have a drink or two. If you do drive, try one of their imaginative NA drinks.
