Valentine’s Day falls on a weekday this year, so if you and your sweetie don’t feel like doing the whole hoopla midweek you can head to Forage in Cambridge on Sunday, February 19th to pop a bottle of something sparkling at their Valentine’s-themed Bubbles & Brine party. You and your favorite oyster eater can enjoy some stellar sips of quirky, small production and natural sparklers like 2021 “L’Arpette Petille,” Domaine de L’Arpette, Gaillac and 2021 “Figure 3” Pétillant-Naturel Rose, Iapetus, Vermont while you snack on some of chef Eric Cooper’s briney bites like Butter Poached Oyster on Toast Point with Pickled Herb Relish, and Smoked Scallop Napoleon with Roast Potato, Nutty Spread, Fresh Dill and Parsley.
