Make 2021 the year you conquer the brisket and sign up for a class with The Smoke Shop’s chef-owner Andy Husbands. The champion pitmaster and cookbook author will be sharing some of his accumulated wisdom in a two-day, in-person tutorial that’ll cover everything from butchering and trimming to slicing your finished product like a pro. The two sessions are scheduled for Friday, January 15th from 6:30-9:00pm and Saturday, January 16th from 11:00am-1:00pm at the Assembly Row location (they’ll reschedule if indoor dining regulations have changed by then) so clear you calendar and get ready to learn the ins and outs of the ultimate smoked meat. Tickets, available online here, are $225 each which includes a whole brisket, a cocktail demo, a fried chicken dinner and tax and gratuity. Money well spent for a lifetime of brisket-making.
