If you live (or work or play) in the Newton neck of the woods, here’s another reason to get out and about during the week: Brewsday Tuesdays at Sycamore. Each week, the team will be featuring limited-release craft brews,harder-than-heck-to-find large format bottles to pour by the glass, and the occasional beer flight, all paired with a special bar snack from the kitchen to make for a deliciously affordable combo. The line-up will be rotating each Tuesday, so whether you want something sour, tart & funky or malty & sweet or hoppy & bitter, you’ll have to make your visit a weekly occurrence to experience all that’s in store.
The beginning-of-the-week beer-drinking idea comes from General Manager Lizzie Szczepaniak, who’s a familiar face in the Boston restaurant & beverage community. She’s Cicerone certified (plus a certified sommelier, to boot) who’s made the rounds at places like Row 34, Coppa and The Urban Grape — simply put, she knows her stuff.
