Eat dessert every day for a week – from Monday, May 4th through Sunday, May 10th – have it for breakfast, lunch and dinner, if you can manage it – it’s the tenth annual Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer. Top tier bakers, chocolatiers and pastry chefs from nearly two hundred bakeries, shops and restaurants are preparing desserts to raise funds for breast cancer research and care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Since it started, the event has raised more than $280,000 and they’re looking to cross the $400,000 mark this year – you can help by making the rounds and enjoying a little something sweet – maybe spring strawberry mousse with blood orange and Grand Marnier reduction at Chiara or frozen butterscotch pudding with graham cracker crumble and vanilla whipped cream at Kingfish Hall. For more information and the complete list of participating restaurants, go to the Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer website. In the meantime, scroll through a little sneak preview, here:
