The Book and the Cook: America The Great Cookbook

On Sunday, March 25th, Harvest in Cambridge is celebrating their 10th Book and the Cook dinner with special guest Joe Yonan, author of America The Great Cookbook. His tome dives deep into the American culinary scene, asking contributors from star chefs to hometown heroes a very personal question: “What do you love to cook for the people you love?” You’ll get to taste some of the answers as well as hear from a couple of contributors, Irene Li of Mei Mei and Evan Mallet of the Black Trumpet in Portsmouth, NH, who will be in the kitchen alongside Harvest Executive Chef Tyler Kinnett to prepare your four-course meal. Tickets for the evening are $95, including dinner, a lively Q&A with the author and all the chefs, and a signed copy of America The Great Cookbook. Part of the proceeds will benefit No Kid Hungry, so you’ll be feeding two bellies with one meal. The fun starts at 6:00pm, and space is limited, so snag your tickets here.
