The LUPEC gals are raising a glass to all womankind in honor of International Women’s Day – Tuesday, March 8th (in case you forgot). Join them from 9:00pm until 2:00am at The Franklin Café for glasses of punch ($4), bar snacks ($5) and Bols Genever-based cocktails ($6). A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Jodie Gilson, owner of J. Gilson Greenhouses, a wholesale grower of herbs and perennials and mom to Garden at the Cellar’s Will Gilson. At the beginning of February Gilson’s greenhouses collapsed under the weight of snow from this winter’s crazy storms; the funds will help her rebuild. Drop in for a drink if you can.
