Get your brackets ready—Mary Madness is coming to Bambara on Sunday, April 3rd, pitting pro bartenders against each other in a battle of Bloody Marys. The more-than-collegiate contenders include Cambridge drink-makers from Trina’s Starlite Lounge, Russell House Tavern, Firebrand Saints and Bambara against Boston shakers from Banyan, Citizen, Highball Lounge and No. 9 Park. The bartenders will be mixing up their best take on a Bloody Mary with Tito’s Vodka in a bracket-style competition for people’s choice and judge’s pick. From 1:00-4:00pm, you can sip on four-ounce pours of the Bloodys alongside classic brunch and game day eats from chef Jay Silva (think: cheeseburger sliders, candied maple bacon and chicken wings). Tickets are $40 each, available online here, and proceeds benefit local non-profit Lovin’ Spoonfuls.
