Forage’s Blind Wine Dinner

Forage Instagram

If you fancy yourself to be a bit of a citizen sommelier then you won’t want to miss this week’s Blind Wine Dinner at Forage. Wine guru Stan Hilbert and chef Eric Cooper have a fun twist in store with four courses of springtime flavors in dishes like Mushroom Salad with Mushroom Ketchup, Arugula, Toast; and a Boar Chop with Spelt Tabbouleh, Walleye Taramasalata and Sour Cherry Gastrique all paired with four unidentified wines made from single varietals. If you can guess three out of the four wines you’ll win a $50 gift card — it’s a whole dinner mystery vibe, but for wine geeks.

Check out the menus for omnivores and vegetarians below and grab a reservation here for the dining room, or celebrate the early spring season with a table on the heated patio. Dinner is $95 per person to dine in, or if you prefer to do your tasting at home you can take the meal to go for two people for just $160 (order here). If you fall in love with one of the blind wines, or any of the other fun, offbeat natural and organic wines you’ve tasted at Forage, bring a bottle or two home at retail prices. Or better yet, sign up for their monthly wine club and get a some curated bottles delivered right to your door!
