Cheers to French independence at Bistro du Midi this Bastille Day. From Thursday, July 14th through Sunday, July 17th, the kitchen and bar teams are collaborating for Frenchy specials. Executive chef Josue Louis will be offering his classic pate while head sommelier Todd Lipman has crafted pastis–inspired cocktails for the occasion. Working with the anise-flavored aperitif in mind, Lipman will offer concoctions like the Summer Saz (a take on a Sazerac with absinthe, rye and Peychaud’s) and the Southside of Grenobles (with gin, mint, lemon and green Chartreuse). Take a look at the cocktail menu below – bar hours are 11:30am-10:00pm – and head Downtown to raise a glass (and fork) to France.
