Bike the Day Away

We’ve never really believed that you need to earn your meals, but there’s no reason why a long day of exercise shouldn’t be rewarded with something delicious. On Sunday, October 21st chef Paul Turano will lead a group of cyclists on a thirty-five mile excursion, making stops at Verrill Farms, Walden Pond and of course, Tryst, his Arlington restaurant. Riders will enjoy tours of both scenic Concord spots (and a slice of apple pie at the farm – to keep their strength up) before heading back to Tryst for a two-course dinner. The whole package costs $40 per person (though that doesn’t include bike rentals which are an extra $17 for those who need it, or drinks and gratuity at dinner). The tour starts at 11:00am at Quad Cycles in Arlington – get your tickets here.
