Henrietta’s Table in The Charles Hotel hosts a private benefit for The Farm School this Friday, May 30th. In true Henrietta’s Table fashion, the event will celebrate the restaurant’s longtime commitment to local farmers and the fresh and honest to goodness home cooking of chef Peter Davis. Hosted by 92.9 WBOS radio personalities Neal Robert, David O’Leary and George Knight, this special night will feature the live sounds of Grappa Boom – a trio of nationally known bluegrass and jazz musicians. A live auction and raffle will be held starting at 6:15pm to raise funds for The Farm School, a family run farm that provides children with the real on-hands experience of working a farm. Auction items include a week at a Tuscan Farm Villa for 4, a Pig Roast for 40 and two tickets to any show on Bruce Springsteen’s summer tour. Guests will enjoy food from Henrietta’s new spring menu including grilled oysters with BBQ lemon grappa vinaigrette, Farm School pulled pork on mini brioche, mini Kobe burgers, BBQ Niman Ranch spareribs, and Henrietta’s very own Big Pig Brew.
