On Thursday, April 14th the Friends of Boston’s Homeless hosts the 18th Annual Beyond Shelter Event to Benefit the Homeless at The State Room. Join them from 6:00-11:00pm for live music from the Kendrick Oliver & The New Life Jazz Orchestra, an exciting auction and raffle prizes and, of course, delicious fare from restaurants like Arbor, Azure, Dedo Lounge, Flour Bakery, Hamersley’s Bistro, Le Soir, Redbones, Union Bar & Grille and Vox Populi. Tickets cost $50 per person, if purchased in advance ($60 at the door). Proceeds benefit Friends of Boston’s Homeless transitional programs including, Permanent Affordable Housing, Job Training, and Adult Education and Literacy.
