Kimpton Nine Zero Hotel is getting a bar & lounge this October called Better Sorts Social Club, and you can get a sneak peek at the spirits that’ll be offered in the new space on Sunday, September 23rd. Naomi Levy (formerly of Eastern Standard) is in command of the forthcoming program, and she’ll be at Backbar in Somerville (7 Sanborn Ct) mixing up some sippers straight off of the opening menu. There’ll be a focus on classic cocktails from the pre-prohibition era as well as more modern takes and interpretations of libations recent to the limelight.
