Hot diggity dawg, Cambridge is about to become the hottest stop for sausage fans. On Saturday, July 25th Best of the Wurst is back at First Street Market with sizzling competition and legendary links to delight all the glizzy lovers. Chefs from Puritan Oyster Bar, Sarma, Bar Mezzana, Amba, Geppetto, State Park, Il Casale and more (see below) are bringing all their funkiest franks all under one roof to compete for the title of Sausage King of Boston.
Grab tickets on Eventbrite and you can sample all 12 sausages, pair them with mustards from the National Mustard Museum and vote for your favorite. Adult tickets cost $30, kids 12 and under are $10 (plus an admin fee), and if all those dawgs leave you thirsty, beer and cocktails will be happening at the cash bar. Get yourself to East Cambridge for a 12:00pm start, and keep an eye on First Street Market’s IG for any event updates.
