The folks from Davio’s have rounded up more than twenty-five restaurants for their Tasting Event to Benefit Families of Fallen Firefighters, scheduled for Wednesday, May 7th. Organized in honor of Lieutenant Edward Walsh Jr. and Firefighter Michael Kennedy, both of whom lost their lives in a nine alarm fire in the Back Bay on March 26th, the fundraiser taps into the talent and generosity of top tier spots like Artisan Bistro, The Beehive, Brasserie Jo, The Bristol Lounge, Cinquecento, Grill 23 & Bar, Post 390, Row 34, Sweet Cheeks, Taranta, The Tip Tap Room, Top of the Hub, Trade and many more. There’ll be an open bar, and more than a few fabulous items up for grabs in the evening’s live auction, hosted by Billy Costa of KISS 108FM and The Dining Playbook. One hundred percent of the monies raised will be donated to the families of these two brave men. Tickets, which are required, are available online for $200 each.
