The James Beard House welcomes Spire’s Gabriel Frasca back to the Big Apple for a Wine Lover’s Dinner at the Beard House on Wednesday, January 19th. Starting at 7:00pm, Frasca will be dishing out signature style hors d’oeuvres like fried Fisher’s Island oysters; foie gras mousse and pickled shallots; petite Maine lobster rolls; and halibut and beet tartare with osetra caviar. The multi-course dinner that follows features dishes like marinated sardines with Yukon gold potatoes, pepper confit, sweet garlic, mashed leeks and pernod; and Frasca’s pain perdu with sweet-and-sour grapefruit, maple-walnut ice cream and a tiny pot of syrup. The dinner, costs $90 per person for members and $115 per person for guests.
