Instead of trick-or-treating, take yourself on a boozy walkabout at Noir – the recently revamped bar at the Charles Hotel will be hosting an All Hallows’ Eve cocktail contest with trio of undead drinks for you to try. Get yourself to Harvard Square (costumes encouraged, but not required) on Saturday, October 31st between 5:00pm and 12:00am to sip your way through three different versions of the Zombie, a classic Tiki drink that dates back to 1934. There’ll be one from the Noir bar team, of course, as well as ones from Shore Leave and Variety Bar – all made with Privateer Rum.
As part of the festivities, you’ll get to vote on your favorite beverage – the winning Zombie will be announced at the stroke of midnight. And, if you need a little incentive to get into the spirit, there’ll be a fabulous prize Privateer Rum for the best costume so go all out – just be sure your outfit can accommodate a face mask, cause they’ll be adhering to all Covid guidelines in the socially-distanced dining room and out on their heated patio.
