Sister restaurants Beat Brasserie and The Beehive are celebrating Bastille Day on their respective sides of the river. On Friday, July 14th Cambridge’s Beat Brasserie kicks off the evening with Eduardo Mercuri, guitarist, mandolinist and composer, playing from 6:30-8:30pm. At 10:00pm, Ricky King Russell will step into the limelight, playing passionate blues tunes through until 2:00am.
Over in the South End at The Beehive, the Nat Mugavero Trio begins the fun with a modern and classic jazz trio dinner set, from 6:30-8:30pm. Come 10pm, the Nella Rojas Band, known for incorporating rhythms from around the world (especially Venezuela), will take the stage and jam out until 2am.
