On Friday, July 13th, come say Vive la Dance! at the French Cultural Center’s Bastille Day Block Party on Marlborough Street. This annual event attracts thousands of Francophiles and their families to the Back Bay to celebrate French independence and culture with dining, drinking, and dancing in the street. From 6:00 to 8:00pm the streets will be closed to traffic while you enjoy live music from international artists Sidi Touré from Mali and Lakou Mizik from Haiti, fun activities for kids and adults, and plenty of traditional French fare like crêpes and croque monsieurs from the local likes of Bar Boulud, Bastille Kitchen, La Voile, and more. Tickets are $33 in advance and $40 at the door (free for kids under 10); get yours and all the deets here.
