Bakes for Breast Cancer is Back

Bakes for Breast Cancer

Desserts are about to be 100% guilt free as the 23rd annual Bakes for Breast Cancer gets underway. More than 140 restaurants and bakeries are a part of the action this year, which raises funds for breast cancer research, and all you need to do to help out is to treat yourself.

From Friday, October 7th through Thursday, October 13th, participating spots around the city are highlighting a special dessert — or their whole dessert menu — and donating some or all of the sales to Bakes for Breast Cancer Massachusetts. These donations fund research for clinical trials at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. So you can go for all the Chocolate Cake Truffles from Flour Bakery + Cafe, Tiramisu at Davio’s, Pink Velvet Cheesecake from Cusser’s, Milk and Cookies at Mooo…. , and Creme Brulee with Strawberry White Chocolate Popcorn at Grill 23, plus other treats from the likes of Sofra, Tres Gatos, Henrietta’s Table, Harvest, Oleana, Mamaleh’s, State Park, The Banks, South End Buttery, Bistro du Midi, and many more (search for sweets here) and know that it’s all going towards a great cause.

If you can’t make it in person, several spots will have sweets available for delivery and to go; or if sweets aren’t your thing but you still want to chip in, you can make a donation here.
