Philanthropic-minded pastry lovers, make a beeline for Coolidge Corner this weekend to brunch and stock up on sweets at the Bake My Day Bake Sale at Vello. Pastry Chef Thomas Langille has enlisted his fellow bakers, confectioners and dessert-makers for a one-day-only fundraiser for the MJYA Foundation. There’ll be donuts, bagels, brownies, cupcakes, croissants and more for $5 each so you can grab all the goodies you want for a good cause. Pop over between 11:00am and 3:00pm on Sunday, February 6th – they’ll be serving the full a la carte brunch menu and there’ll live music from the Winiker Jazz Trio, to boot.
