Something delicious is brewing on the North Shore. On Saturday, August 12th, get yourself to Beverly for the Bacon & Brew Fest, a celebration of one of life’s greatest pairings. Bacon and beer (and cider and music) will be on display in all their delicious glory from dozens of restaurants, local breweries and food purveyors at the Raymond J. Bourque arena at Endicott College between 3:30 and 7:00pm. There are various ticket options (including one for designated drivers), but all of them get you unlimited samples of bacon-y treats from spots like A&B Burgers, Fibber McGee’s, Karl’s Sausage Kitchen, Finz Seafood and Superfine Food among others  – and that’s in addition to the platters of actual bacon for the purists in attendance.
