Bacon and Beer Festival

Running for nine straight years, the Bacon and Beer Festival proves that some combinations never get old. And after three seasons at Fenway Park, the event is moving back to its original home, the SoWa Power Station. On Saturday, June 9th, get to the South End from 2:30 to 5:00pm for this sizzling, sudsy fundraiser on behalf of Lovin’ Spoonfuls and Community Servings. Dozens of local restaurants like Alden & Harlow, ArtBar Cambridge, Bambara, Café ArtScience, Gaslight Brasserie, Bar Mezzana, Island Creek Oyster Bar, Island Creek Oyster Bar – Burlington, Little Donkey, Metropolis, Moody’s Deli, The Smoke Shop, South End Buttery, Stoddard’s Fine Food & Ale and Tapestry are putting their best trotters forward with special bacon entrees and a slew of local breweries bringing the beer. There are two levels of tickets (both are 21+, sorry kids) — General for $50 and Baller for $75— and both get you through the gate and samples of all the tasty treats. Check it out here, and act fast—moving back to SoWa means the capacity is cut in half, so this will sell out fast.
