South Boston welcomes Backyard Betty’s–a new, chef-driven restaurant from the team behind Publico–to its burgeoning food scene at the end of the week. With Executive Chef Jeff Howe at the helm (formerly of longtime favorites Teatro and L’Andana), the bar and grill will be serving a menu of cookout classics and regional, American comfort fare (think: hush puppies, brisket, Nashville Hot fried chicken and a table-side wing cart brimming with your favorite finger food adorned in sauces like apricot-glaze, pineapple teriyaki and southern BBQ).
