Author Adam White Reads at Tres Gatos

Los Gatos

Brunch meets books at Tres Gatos in Jamaica Plain on Sunday, July 24th. Head to Boston’s only bookstore/record store/tapas joint in the afternoon for some brunch bites ahead of a 3:00pm reading with local author Adam White. Crush some Sourdough Waffles (local whole wheat, quince butter, pink peppercorn whipped cream, maple syrup, bacon) or a Tres Gatos Benedict (Serrano ham, poached egg, paprika hollandaise, stone skillet english muffin) and settle in with an extra mimosa or two as White reads from his critically-acclaimed new book The Midcoast. White lives in Boston with his family, but he grew up in Damariscotta, Maine, which is where the main character of his literary crime mystery becomes obsessed with a lobsterman’s fortune. Brunch starts at 10:30; no reservations are required as all tables inside and outside are first come, first served. Get there early and stick around to shop for books and records, or come later and make a reservation here for an early dinner after the reading. For more questions call 617.477.4851 and follow Tres Gatos on Instagram for updates on upcoming events.
