Asparagus season comes around only once a year in New England, and Forage has the perfect way to thank the spring veggie gods for their bounty with their annual asparagus dinner on Tuesday, May 30th in Cambridge. Chef Eric Cooper has been busy choosing and prepping the most tender spears for four courses that will be artfully paired up with four all-natural orange wines, and you won’t want to miss matchups like Broiled Asparagus with Shiitake Oil, Watercress, Wild Mint, Cashew Vin and Magnolia Blossoms paired with 2020 “Macerated White” Krasno, Goriska, Brda, Slovenia (take a look at the full menu below). Wine guru Stan Hilbert will be on hand to talk you through the sips, plus you can take a few bottles home with you at retail prices if you find something you love.

Reservations are available here to dine in from 5:00 to 8:45pm, and dinner costs $105 per person. Or, if you prefer the ambiance of your own kitchen or patio, you can order your asparagus and orange wine feast for two people to go by ordering here ($160).
