Saturday, May 20th is all about asparagus at Verrill Farms. Swing by the Concord farm at 11:00am for a guided tour of the asparagus fields from farm owner Steve Verrill and an asparagus-themed lunch outside under the tents from chef Kevin Carey, who’ll be making an assortment of appetizers, asparagus soup, lasagna and salad. There’ll be live music from Two for the Show, cooking demonstrations and everyone will leave with their very own bunch of Verrill Farms asparagus.
