The Parish Cafe is bringing back an extra-special blast from the sandwich past: the Ashmont. Created by chef Chris Douglass (of Dorchester favorites Ashmont Grill and Tavolo), the magnificent creation consists of marinated and spice-rubbed pork on a sesame roll, drizzled with dried cherry mustard, topped with arugula, and served alongside homemade coleslaw. Both locations (Back Bay and South End) will be dishing out the sammy everyday through Sunday, May 13th, so stop by either one to grab yours before it’s gone (again).
