Known for its celebration of all things Italian (all things Italian and edible, that is), Via Matta will be taking a final spin through Piedmont, Tuscany, Liguria and Emilia Romagna at its Last Supper on Saturday, May 30th. To honor the Back Bay restaurant’s 13 year run, chef-wner Michael Schlow, along with the Via Matta team, will prepare a meal, sans menus. Seatings start at 5:00pm and the mystery menu is $75 per person; call 617.422.0008 today to secure a spot, and do it quick! And don’t forget – in case you start feeling all nostalgic – you can enjoy Schlow’s cooking at Latin-American-leaning Tico, Italian-focused Alta Strada or Greek-themed Doretta Taverna and Raw Bar, which should be opening this fall.
