If work won’t let you jet off to the Alps or Aspen this winter don’t fret — you can still get that alpine lodge experience inside the lobby bar at the Kimpton Marlowe Hotel this season at their Le Chalet pop-up experience. Every Saturday night through March 25th you can head to Cambridge to live the aprés ski life next to a roaring fireplace with a cocktail in hand and some chalet-style bites from chef Adam Resnick.
The Bambara crew will be stirring and shaking up some hot and cold craft cocktails like the S’more Old Fashioned made with High West bourbon, graham cracker syrup, mole bitters and chocolate covered marshmallow; and house-made hot chocolate with tequila, ancho reyes and whipped cream. Munch on a plate of Pesto Arancini with roasted garlic marinara or some Warm Hummus with patty pan squash and grilled flatbread and get lounged out on the club leather chairs and cozy couches filled with faux fur throws and plush pillows. There will be live entertainment for an authentic aprés vibe, not to mention skis, skates, toboggans and snowshoes scattered throughout the space.
Check out the menu below and head over anytime between 5:00 and 10:00pm; live music runs from 6:00 to 9:00pm, and there are plenty of board games to play while you’re sipping and snacking.
