Bar Volpe Hosts an Evening with Gianluca Bisol

Book yourself a table at Bar Volpe’s upcoming wine dinner (their first ever!) to enjoy An Evening with Gianluca Bisol. On Tuesday, April 26th, James Beard Award-winning chef Karen Akunowicz (also of Fox & Knife, just FYI) is putting together a four-course meal to match with wines and prosecco from the Bisol Winery in Veneto, Italy, where they’ve been cultivating grapes since 1542. Winemaker Gianluca Bisol has channeled his family’s 500+ years of winemaking experience into their present-day selections of organically farmed and internationally recognized Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG crus.

And you’ll get to try them (some of them!) alongside dishes like Fritti Misti and Insalata di Radicchio (paired with 2020 Bisol “Jeio” Prosecco Rosé DOC), Fazzoletti al Marsala and Ravioli alla Norma (paired with 2020 Bisol “Crede” Prosecco Superiore DOCG) and Bistecca alla Griglia and Cime di Rapa (paired with 2018 Maeli “Infinito” Colli Euganei DOC). Tickets, available online here through Resy, are $139 each. Dinner starts at 6:15pm; don’t be late – you don’t want to miss a single bite (or sip)!
