An Amazing Night for Maizy

Rochambeau

The Boston culinary community lost a great friend in 2019 when chef Tim Willis (Summer Shack, Lyons Group) passed away unexpectedly, but you can celebrate his life with a fab night out and put a couple of dollars in his daughter’s college fund while you’re at it. An Amazing Night for Maizy, scheduled for Thursday, April 27th at Rochambeau, will feature some of the city’s best-known chefs, (think: Summer Shack’s Jasper White, Scampo‘s legendary Lydia Shire and Nicholas Calias of Lucie Drink + Dine at the Colonnade among others) who worked alongside the talented young chef.

The evening will feature a dine-around style of bites paired with a wine or local beer, plus there’ll be piles of super fresh shellfish from Island Creek Oysters. Kennedy Elsey from Mix 104.1 will emcee the festivities, which will also include specialty cocktails, raffles and a stellar silent auction. Tickets are $75 each (plus a small admin fee), and the party goes down from 6:00 to 9:00pm at the Back Bay brassiere next to the Hynes Convention Center. Scoop up your tickets here, or if you can’t make it but would still like to support Maizy you can make a donation here.
