It’s mushroom season! Make the most of it with an afternoon of foraging, followed by a delicious dinner with one of Boston’s best and brightest chefs. On Saturday, October 20th, mushroom expert (and the man behind Mushrooms for my Friends), Tyler Akabane, will be teaming up with Oak + Rowan’s Justin Shoults to take guests on a mushroom hunt (also known as a walk in the woods). The educational stroll, which will take place about an hour north of Boston from 2:00-4:00pm, will be full of fun and fungi – you’ll learn all about favorites like hen of the woods, chicken of the woods and porcini, and you may even learn a thing or two about other forageables like nuts and berries. Tickets are $125 each – get one before they’re gone.
