A Friendsgiving Feast for the Ages

Thanksgiving comes laden with family traditions, but you can break off and form a few of your own with Friendsgiving. In order to be the host with the most, you’ll need a few pointers, of course. On Saturday, November 19th, you can eat and drink your way through an epic Friendsgiving spread while actually learning a thing or two at the ultimate Friendsgiving Master Class. Gather your pals and head to Commonwealth for some schooling in cocktails, entrees, décor and – most importantly – leftovers.

Commonwealth chefs Ellie Campbell and Nicco Muratore leave the turkey to the traditionalists, spotlighting versatile local lamb as the Friendsgiving dish of choice – that means no basting; just creative, easy-to-cook lamb, plus the recipes for leftovers (if there are any). On the beverage side, Commonwealth bartender Irvin Rivas will unpack the art of batch cocktails (perfect for a group) while Cambridge Brewing Company’s Alex Corona shows off the surprisingly tasty side of pumpkin beers. And the folks from Foret Design Studio will offer tips for forage-able tablescapes and more.

The class runs 11:00am to 1:30pm and tickets are available online here for $50 each, including a family-style meal with savory lamb, cocktails and beer tastes. Pick yours up to start prepping for the holiday with the family you choose.
