Alcove’s Tom Schlesinger-Guidelli is a bit like the Rick Steves of wine, traveling around Europe and discovering stories of the wines and winemakers he meets along the way. On Monday, April 24th, you can break bread with one of the new friends he made in 2022, Fritz Wieninger of Austria’s Wieninger Estate and Vineyard. Wieninger will be bringing some of his natural, biodynamic wines all the way from Vienna to the West End for a four-course tasting dinner starting at 7:00pm, and you’ll have the chance to hear all about his winemaking philosophy and techniques, and learn about his vineyards that grow on either side of the Danube River.
